The picture on this page is not an oil well, a mine, expanses of forests or water. It is a picture of people, the ultimate resource. As was mentioned elsewhere, almost every thing we value comes from other people. This page gives a few links of resources I have found valuable.

SOCNET: The listserv of the International Network of Social Network Analysts (subscribe here at the site). This is a 40+ year old organization that leads the way in the study of social networks. This list is NOT for advertising your social networking site (a subset of social networks) and it is good form to take some time to read the list (as with all lists) and make sure your question is not already answered.

MEETUP.COM - This is an Web site that facilitates off line networks. Though having virtual friends can be entertaining, meetup.com can lead to real world friendships.
