We live in a "knowledge society" where "knowledge workers" work at tasks that requires "knowledge." We are rapidly becoming deindustrialized in the US and manufacturing is done elsewhere. Some are worried that our "knowledge" too is moving offshore.
In organization, society and individuals knowledge allows us to create value. Whether it is building things effectively, managing, processes or relationships knowledge is core to business. But what is it really? How can we identify it? How can an organization preserve and enhance it?
